} Best Things {

These are the best things that have happened to me throughout my life. They might not be in any order but all are special and important things!

1. Regaining my sight having had cataracts when I was 4 years old. I regained it gradually through a series of operations between the ages of 4 and 9

2. Getting contact lenses in time to be a bridesmaid when I was 7 years old.

3. Having a birthday to remember when I was 12. Mum and Dad asked me what I wanted to do. I chose going out for a meal and I chose the location...Garfunkels at the embankment of the Thames. Afterwards they asked me what I wanted to do next and I said walk over Hungerford Bridge and alongside the Thames River. As we passed The Royal Festival Hall Mum asked if I wanted to go inside. I said yes in amazement because I didn't think I could. We went in and there were some foyer shows going on. While we were watching Dad disappeared to go to the 'loo'. When he came back Mum said it was time to go and I was disappointed but we stopped at a stall and bought some ballet stickers and then instead of leaving we walked up the stairs and into the auditorium! Mum and Dad had bought tickets for the Ballet 'Coppelia'. I love ballet but this is the first time I had seen a professional performance. I had no idea that this was what Mum and Dad had planned and yet I had chosen perfectly for my birthday treat to fit in with what Mum and Dad had already arranged!

4. Becoming an Auntie to Christian even though I was only 16 and I don't get to see them as often as I'd like! And again 2 more times to Hannah and Rebekah!

5. Becoming a Godmother to a beautiful little girl called Stephanie Rose!

6. Passing my driving test and the joy of being able to drive and the freedom it brings!

7. Being given the most beautiful gift of my Doggy Dulcie!

8. Learning to play the flute and being given one to be going on with and then being bought my own by mum and dad!

 Ooh look this picture has all my loves in it, music, dance and flowers!

9. (despite all the hard work) my doggy having 8 gorgeous, cute, playful puppies and watching them grow up until they went to their new homes.

10. Running my own business even though it didn't quite work out and I made loads of mistakes the satisfaction of being my own boss and working from home was the best!! I can't wait to do it all again.

11. Getting the chance to go back HOME to Cornwall and catching up with some of my favourite people!

12. My bestest friend having a late gift, baby girl, called Sarah Leanne and becoming Godmother to her too! I also got to travel back to Cornwall for her dedication when she was 5 weeks old and by the time she was 5 months old I was back living in Cornwall and seeing her every week! I love her to bits!
